It’s always a total pleasure to spend time with Lenny Abrahamson, just a shame it was remotely. He has thrown his weight and creativity behind the adaptation of Sally Rooney’s Normal People, directing 6 of the 12 episode that hit the BBC iPlayer on 26th April. Back with long term collaborator Stephen Rennicks, the music is a fantastic mix of Stephens score and needle drops that perfect accompany then arrive of these characters and their intimate journey.
